Youth charged with carrying blade may face further charges
A 17-YEAR-OLD boy charged with carrying a blade as a weapon could face further charges, a court heard yesterday (TUE).
The teen made no reply when he was charged with carrying the blade, at the Malahide Road, in Clarehall, north Dublin on April 30 last.
Judge Ann Ryan was told that the prosecution was seeking a six week remand for the DPP's directions to be obtained and “possible further charges”.
Judge Ryan remanded the boy, who was accompanied to his case by his mother, on bail to appear again on June 26 next.
