A female who was arrested as part of a Garda investigation into the murder of Paddy Redmond in Limerick last month has been released without charge.
The woman, in her 40s, was arrested by Gardai investigating the murder case yesterday.
Mr Redmond, who was in his 60s, was fatally stabbed at an apartment on Dock Road, Limerick on 10 November.
At the time of the incident, he was brought to University Hospital Limerick where he was later pronounced dead.
The woman was currently detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Henry Street Garda Station.
