Two men to appear before court in connection to death of man in Limerick

Two men are to appear in court this evening charged in connection with the death of a man in Co Limerick.

Shane Murphy, 31, from Lee Estate in Limerick City, was found stabbed to death at a house in the village of Pallaskenry, last Thursday night.

He had been attending a party at a house when he was stabbed in the chest, abdomen and arms.

A 34-year old woman who received a minor stab wound was taken from the house by ambulance to University Hospital Limerick.

Two men, aged 20 and 32, who were arrested in the early hours of Friday morning are to appear before a special sitting of Limerick District Court at 6pm.
