Two men charged in connection with aggravated burglary at Dublin home

Two men have been charged this morning in connection with an aggravated burglary in Howth, Dublin.

The burglary took place almost three years ago, on December 13, 2013 when four men entered a house.

A mum, aged in her mid-forties and her eight-year-old daughter, were present in the house at the time.

They were uninjured in the incident.

The two men, ahed 48 and 35, are due to appear before Dublin District Court 1, Criminal Courts of Justice on Wednesday morning.

The 48 year old man was arrested in Dublin city centre yesterday evening and was brought to Raheny Garda Station.

The second man was arrested this morning in west Dublin and brought to Clontarf Garda Station.

They have both been charged and remain in Garda custody.
