TWO young men will appear in court tomorrow in connection with a knife attack in which a 23-year-old Polish man was stabbed multiple times.
The pair previously appeared before a special sitting of Cork District Court on Saturday afternoon charged in relation to a knife attack at Pope's Quay in the city in the early hours of that morning.
Patrick Tobin (19) from George's Quay, Cork, and Jack Healy (18) from Dominic Street, Cork, were both charged with assault causing harm to Damian Wilkonski.
Judge Con O'Leary remanded Patrick Tobin in custody to appear in court tomorrow, when the issue of bail surety will be raised.
Jack Healy was remanded on bail to appear before Cork District Court again tomorrow. Healy was ordered to sign on three times a week at his local garda station.
