A TRIAL date has been set for a Dublin youth who denies claims he repeatedly sold deals of heroin to undercover gardaí during a sting operation last year.
The 17-year-old boy has entered not guilty pleas to three charges of possessing heroin for sale or supply at two locations in Ballyfermot, in west Dublin, on three dates last March.
Garda Michael Noone had told Judge Ann Ryan at the Dublin Children's Court that it was alleged that on each occasion “the accused sold €20 worth of diamorphine to undercover gardaí.”
The teenager is on bail and today Judge Ann Ryan ordered that his trial would take place on February 19 next.
