Three teenagers in court following serious assault over weekend

THREE teenage boys have been charged over a serious attack on a male in Dublin at the weekend.
Two 14-year-olds and another boy aged 16 appeared at the Dublin Children's Court today charged with assault causing harm.
The attack which left a male in hospital with head injuries allegedly occurred on Saturday at Kilbarron Road, Kilmore, in north Dublin.
The three boys, who were accompanied to their hearing by family members, were remanded on bail by Judge Ann Ryan to appear again next month.
Directions from the DPP have to be obtained in relation to the teen trio, who have not yet indicated how they will plead to the charges.
