A TEENAGE girl has been arrested by gardai investigating the death of a man in the Phoenix Park last week.

The 17-year-old was arrested late last night in connection to the murder of the man, which occurred near Wellington Road, in the Phoenix Park.

The murder occurred in the early hours of Friday, November 29th.

She is currently being detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

The victim is understood to be Gerry Donnelly, who formerly lived in Tallaght, in Dublin, and was in his thirties.

He had not come to the attention of the gardai previously.

A 27-year-old man was arrested in the Camden Street area on Sunday, and a 20-year-old man was arrested in the city centre yesterday.
