The teen was also caught running from another woman's house with a second teenager in a separate incident in south Dublin.

The 17-year-old had her case adjourned for the production of a probation report. She pleaded guilty to burglary at The Rise, Mount Merrion, on July 19, 2014.

She also admitted trespass causing fear at Acorn Road, Dundrum, last August 1.

The girl further admitted having a fake Goalfest sponsorship card at Ballally Drive, Dundrum' Kilgobbin Heights, Step-aside' and Sycamore Road, Finglas, on dates last July and August.

Repugnant

Blanchardstown District Court heard it was reported that two Romanian nationals had entered the house of an elderly woman. The accused was one of two people stopped by gardai.

In another incident, an off-duty officer was told a woman's handbag had been taken when she let two young women in to use her toilet.

"These matters are somewhat repugnant from a moral perspective, as opposed to a criminal perspective," Judge David McHugh said.

The court heard the second person involved in the incidents was aged 18 at the time.
