Teen girl pleads not guilty to stealing €3k worth of dresses from bridal shop
A 17-YEAR-OLD girl is to go on trial after pleading not guilty to stealing €3,000 worth of evening dresses from a Dublin bridal shop.
The girl, who cannot be identified because she is a juvenile, has been charged at the Dublin Children's Court with theft of the 10 dresses from Angelo Bridal, on Lower Dorset Street, on March 19 last. Judge John O'Connor heard that the girl, who was accompanied to court by her father and her lawyer, was contesting the charge.
He was ordered to appear again in September for her trial at the juvenile court. The judge also directed that the girl, who is from Romania, will have the assistance of an interpreter during her hearing.
