The boy appeared at the Dublin Children’s Court on Friday charged with robbery and attempted robbery of two males, whose ages were not stated, on the night of November 21 last.
Garda Brian O’Reilly told Judge Alan Mitchell that it was alleged the boy approached one male and punched him in the face twice and then kneed him.

The teenager, who was accompanied to court by a care worker and his solicitor Brian Keenan, was remanded on bail to appear again in four weeks when he will be expected to enter a plea.
Disclosure of prosecution evidence including CCTV footage was ordered.
The teen made no reply when charged, the court was told.
