Ruling reserved on appointment of interim examiner to bar

The High Court has reserved judgment in Bank of Scotland's bid to have the interim examiner to a well-known Dublin city bar and restaurant discharged, writes Aodhan O'Faolain and Ray Managh.

Last weekend, the court appointed Tim O'Keeffe as interim examiner to Belohn Ltd, the company behind Foley's Bar and the O'Reilly Bar at Merrion Row, Dublin 2. However, BoS said no basis for the appointment had been shown to the court.

Yesterday, following submissions Mr Justice Hogan said he was reserving his decision. He said he hoped to give judgment in early April.
