Prisoner's legal challenge to get dentures back
A REMAND prisoner has brought a legal challenge aimed at ensuring he has his false teeth while incarcerated.
The action is being brought by Boguslaw Jakubiec (53), a Polish national with an address at Carcur Cottages, Wexford town.
The High Court was informed he has great difficulty in eating in prison because he does not have his dentures.
Mr Jakubiec is accused of being involved in three burglaries.
The criminal action against him stands adjourned.
Yesterday, Ms Justice Mary Laffoy granted him permission to serve short notice of his proceedings against the governor of Cloverhill.
The case is to come back before the court next Tuesday.
