NAMA to push for Dunne details

John Breslin

NAMA has been given the green light by a US court to ask the Irish High Court to release details of family court judgments linked to Sean Dunne.

Two family law judgments totalling close to $50m (€37m) were revealed by Mr Dunne when he filed his list of creditors with a US bankruptcy court.

But he would not reveal any details of the judgments when questioned in creditors' meetings, citing Ireland's strict in-camera rulings.

The High Court in Ireland can lift the blanket ban.

NAMA had to apply to the bankruptcy court for permission to go ahead with the Irish application as there is an automatic stay on all other court proceedings while a bankruptcy case is going ahead.

Judge Alan Shiff ruled in favour of NAMA.
