A YOUTH accused of ransacking a house during a burglary was allegedly helped by his mother, a court has heard.
The 17-year-old boy appeared at Dublin Children's Court yesterday charged with a burglary of a house in Malahide, north Dublin, on Monday.
Garda Philip Munds told Judge Ann Ryan that it was alleged the house was forcibly entered and "was ransacked".
Gda Munds alleged that a witness saw a car carrying three males and driven by a woman leaving the scene.
The teenager replied not guilty when later charged. The court also heard that his mother is one of the people who is also accused of taking part in the burglary. The teen was granted bail.
