Man in court after five homes burgled in one hour yesterday

A 21-year-old man is due to appear before Naas District Court this morning charged with a number of burglaries and dangerous driving.

The charges are in relation to a number of burglaries in Mullingar Co Westmeath and incidents of dangerous driving in the Naas area yesterday.

At least five houses in Mullingar were broken into yesterday between 5pm and 6pm and Gardaí received reports of a black Saab motor car leaving the scene of these break-ins.
