Man held in relation to Cabra death released without charge

ONE of the men being held in relation to the death of 21-year-old Jay Saunders has been released without charge.
The 25-year-old man was released earlier today.
The other person arrested, a 23-year-old man, is still being detained at Finglas garda station.
Gardai investigating if the deceased was beaten to death with a golf club.
He was found outside a pub on Fassaugh Avenue in the north Dublin suburb with serious injuries after what appears to be a savage attack outside an adjoining shop.
It is unclear what sparked the fight or how many were involved, but sources say a golf club was found near the scene where the victim lay.
The fight is believed to have happened shortly after 7am yesterday morning.
People who came upon the scene immediately called gardai and the emergency services, and Saunders was rushed to the Mater Hospital but was pronounced dead.
