A 56-year-old male is due to appear before court in connection to a death of a man in Limerick on Wednesday.

The man was expected to be charged in connection to the death of the man in a house on Barrack Hill in the city on April 22nd.

Gardai responding to a call about an incident at a house discovered the body of a man in his 40s.

Gardai arrested the 56-year-old man at the scene and he was detained at Roxboro Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
