Paul Murtagh of Birchdale Park, Kinsealy, Co Dublin, and Lighthouse Apartments, East Wall, Dublin 1, denies possession of “ one common South American Marmoset”.

He allegedly had the animal at Ravensdale Road, East Wall, on October 1 last.

Today at Dublin District Court, he entered a not guilty plea to that charge. Judge Bryan Smyth remanded him on continuing bail to appear again on January 17 next when his hearing will take place.

He had already denied unlawful possession of a stun gun at Marlborough Place, Dublin 1, on October 27, 2009 and will face a district court trial for that alleged offence on January 17 as well.
