Jury sworn in for trial of man accused of Co Cork murder

A jury has been sworn in for the trial of a Romanian man accused of murdering a man in Cork over five years ago.

At the Central Criminal Court today (Monday), Ciprian Grozavu (42), with a last address at Bridge House, Sean Hales Place, Bandon, Co Cork pleaded not guilty to murdering Jonathan Duke (27) at that address on November 13, 2011.

A jury of eight men and four women has been sworn in for the trial, which is due to begin this afternoon before Mr Justice Paul Butler and is expected to last two weeks.
