'I just snapped', says man charged with nanny murder

A MAN who denies murdering a 30-year-old nanny told gardai that he snapped and punched her shortly after she threatened to ruin him if he walked away from her and her pregnancy.
Robert Corbet – who admits the manslaughter of Aoife Phelan in 2012 – told gardai: "She was just roaring at me... I hit her and hit her. I just snapped."
