THE murder trial of Graham Dwyer has been moved forward three months, at the request of the defence.
Graham Dwyer is the man charged with murdering Dublin childcare worker Elaine O’Hara (37) in Co Dublin on August 22nd, 2012.
Mr Dwyer of Kerrymount Close in Foxrock was not in the Central Criminal Court when his case was called today.
The 41-year-old architect is in custody awaiting trial, which was scheduled to begin on April 13th next year.
His barrister, Ronan Kennedy BL, informed Mr Justice Barry White that his client had been refused bail by the High Court, but had been told that he could apply for an earlier trial date if one became available.
He said the trial was due to last six weeks and the registrar assigned a new date of January 19th next.
