TWO members of one of the country's most dangerous criminal gangs will appear in court this morning after they allegedly threatened to kill another man, writes Barry Duggan.
The two men -- aged 34 and 20 -- are from the St Mary's Park area of Limerick city and are members of the Collopy outfit.
They allegedly threatened to kill a man known to them on Friday night in the St Mary's Park area. Both individuals were arrested on Friday following a complaint to gardai by a man also from St Mary's Park and have since been held at Henry Street garda station.
They were arrested on suspicion of demanding money with menace. Following consultations with the Director of Public Prosecutions, gardai will bring the two men to Limerick District Court today.
