Fianna Fail TD's son in court over theft of a car

THE son of a Fianna Fail TD is due before a court sitting today in connection with the theft of a stolen car.
Peter Fleming (22), son of Laois Offaly TD Sean Fleming, is due to make a bail application at Limerick District Court today.
He was arrested last Saturday in Limerick and brought before a special court sitting at the weekend by Det Gda Paul Crowley.
Mr Fleming, with an address at The Shambles, Market Square, Tullamore, Co Offaly, has been charged with four counts of dangerous driving at the Old Dooradoyle Road in Limerick city on January 26. He also faces a charge of unauthorised taking of a vehicle from The Bridge Centre, Tullamore, Co Offaly, on January 24.
Sean Fleming, who serves on the finance, public expenditure and reform committee in the Dail, has been a TD since 1997.
