Concern for safety of missing man

There is rising concern for the safety of a man missing from his home since Sunday.
Gerard Daly (42), of Bailieborough, Co Cavan, but originally from the Tallaght area of Dublin, is described as being 5ft 10in tall, of broad build, with dark hair and blue eyes.
Kenny: bonuses not acceptable
TAOISEACH Enda Kenny yesterday said bonuses paid at the top level in the public sector are not acceptable.
His comments came after it was revealed hundreds of staff working in NAMA and the agency overseeing it, the NTMA, shared a bonus pot worth €2m last year. "People in many of these positions are exceptionally well paid to do a job. For me, bonuses should not be acceptable," he said.

It has been brought to our attention that the letter to Jackie Healy-Rae regarding premium telephone calls made from Leinster House was sent by an official in the House of the Oireachtas at the request of the Clerk of the Dail and not from a Dail Committee chaired by former Ceann Comhairle, Mr John O'Donoghue.
