Commuters face more disruption with public transport cancellations

AIRPORTS: Delays to flights from Dublin and Cork airports. Shannon operated as normal. Regional airports were also affected. Further information at www.daa.ie. RAIL: Delays of up to 15 minutes on intercity, DART and commuter services because of freezing points. All services ran except the M3 Parkway to Clonsilla line. Further information at www.irishrail.ie, www.twitter.com/irishrail or at 1850 366 222. LUAS: Some disruptions to services on the Red Line, while the Connolly stop was closed. There was a service from Sandyford and St Stephen's Green on the Green line, but none between Brides Glen and Sandyford. Information at www.luas.ie and 1800 300 604. INTERCITY/REGIONAL BUSES: Night buses cancelled but most services ran with delays. Among the suspended routes were services in Waterford, Meath, Wicklow, Monaghan and Cork. Check www.buseireann.ie. School buses: Disruptions as schools were closed and secondary roads dangerous. DUBLIN BUS: The Nitelink was cancelled, and routes were subject to diversions and changes.
