Commuter chaos with 19km tailbacks on M50

Traffic on the M50 is moving again following bumper-to-bumper traffic this morning with 19km tailbacks.

Flooding is also being cleared from the northbound off the ramp at the Junction 11, Tallaght.

Dublin commuters spent the morning battling traffic with tailbacks as far as 19km, according to AA Roadwatch

The J6 Blanchardstown to J13 Ballinteer proved to be one of the worst affected areas, as well as exiting the M50 Northbound at J11 Tallaght.

The northbound off ramp at J11 Tallaght is still down to one lane due to flooding.
