Comedian Pat Shortt pokes fun at Kilkenny fans after losing to Cork

LIFE can be so cruel.

It’s not often we see the Cats get creamed.

And even though Cork were the victors in today’s All-Ireland Quarter-final clash, the result has led to much delirium for people from other counties.

Particularly if that county is Tipperary.

Comedian and Tipp native Pat Shortt was watching the match in London and saw the Rebels beat Kilkenny by 19 points to 14.

And he couldn’t miss the opportunity.

The D’Unbelievables and Mattie star posted an image of himself laughing as a dejected looking Kilkenny manager Brian Cody gave an interview on the screen overhead.

“Top is sad Kilkenny man. Below is happy Tipperary man,” he posted.

Let’s hope the Tipperary man is still happy when they meet Kilkenny next.
