Coast Guard officials have expressed concern again after children were found off the Co Dublin coast in a supermarket dinghy earlier tonight.
“This is another example of what's being encountered by our Coast Guard boats on patrol during this warm weather spell,” said the Irish Coast Guard who issued this picture.
"This 'vessel' was intercepted by our boat in Howthwhile out on safety monitoring and training.
“It is a cheap kids dinghy with the occupants wearing swimming armbands as a floatation aid.
"They were taken aboard for their own safety and brought back to Howth."
The warm spell of weather has seen an increased amount of people take to the water.
Irish Water Safety has advised the public to only swim on beaches protected by lifeguards.
They have also advised that the public should never take to the water after consuming alcohol.
