IAN McKEEVER’S heartbroken fiancée is recovering from injuries she sustained in the climbing tragedy.
Anna O’Loughlin’s family – who live in Dublin - are understood to be on the way to Tanzania to support her.
Mr McKeever was living with Anna in Sandyford and had been together for the past year.
He worked as a life coach and was studying PR.
It is understood several other members of the group, including Anna, were injured by the aftershock.
Ian’s final Facebook posting, a day before his death, read: “Torrential rain all day. Spirits remain good even if drying clothes is proving impossible. We pray for dryer weather tomorrow – the big day.”
The couple travelled to Africa before the New Year and were due to return on January 10.
