Challenge is 'water under the bridge'
TEN months on from his failed Fine Gael leadership heave, Richard Bruton says his challenge to Enda Kenny (right) is "water under the bridge".
Settling into his second term as Enterprise Minister, Mr Bruton praised Mr Kenny's start as Taoiseach, and said the election result shows the public know they can work together.
"It is all water under the bridge," he insisted. "At the time, these things are traumatic. It was always about being the best that we could be.
"I think the Taoiseach has really been very impressive in the way he has hit the ground running, and is very coherent and looking for high standards from all his ministers," he added.
