Dublin's Pro Cathedral is seeking unwanted Christmas gifts for the homeless.

The presents will be regifted to homeless people across the capital.

The public can leave the gifts in the St Mary's Pro Cathedral's crib until Friday, January 6.

They will be distributed by Crosscare, a social care agency of the Archdiocese of Dublin.

Crosscare runs six services throughout the greater Dublin area for adults experiencing homelessness.

The agency helps the homeless by providing emergency accommodation, offering short-term housing solutions.

They also offer support services to help people who are in need to find their own home.
