Carrickmines tragedy: Boy (4) who survived fire which left his whole family dead to be released from hospital
A four-year-old boy who survived a fire which left his parents, two brothers and his baby sister dead will be released from hospital tomorrow.
Thomas Connors survived the fire at a halting site in Carrickmines which took the lives of 10 members of his extended family.
The young boy will be released into the care of his grandparents, aunts, uncles and brothers.
The family are still homeless 10 days after the inferno ripped through the south Dublin site.
Southside Travellers group confirmed that accommodation has been arranged for the 15 members of the family for the next two nights.
Thomas's parents, Thomas and Sylvia Connors, and three of their children, Christopher, Jim and baby Mary, will be buried on Friday afternoon.
The other five members of the family were buried in Bray today.
