DUBLIN commuters will not pay more than €10 a day on transport costs, the National Transport Authority has said.

The caps on public transport costs were announced today and will apply for fares for Leap Card users.

The maximum daily and weekly transport fares for Dublin commuters, no matter whether they have been using Dublin Bus, Luas, DART or Commuter Rail, and the Cap will be in place in December.

The maximum daily and weekly public transport fares will apply for Leap Card users as follows: Adult (€10 per day / €40 per week), student (€7.50 per day / €30 per week), child (€3.50 per day / €14 per week)
