Can't lose: McCreevys win €11,000 while Ahern gets $40,000 a lecture
The old Celtic Tiger guard were laughing all the way to the bank at the Galway Festival last night.
Noleen McCreevy, left, celebrated winning over €11,000 after her horse 'Catch the Eye' won its race to the obvious delight of former Finance Minister Charlie, centre. Also enjoying the evening was ex-Taoiseach Bertie Ahern who is charging American companies a fortune to present a new lecture -- about how he transformed our economy.
The man targeted by many as the architect of our crippling recession is charging more than $40,000 (€27,554) a time for speaking engagements with the elite Washington Speakers Bureau.
