GARDAI are searching for four men after a Northern-registered car was driven at speed though a Dublin suburb and was subsequently burnt out in the middle of the bank holiday afternoon.
Yesterday, the burnt-out car was found in the Clontarf Bay apartments' courtyard after it was involved in a hit-and-run incident with another car in the north Dublin suburb. No one was injured in the incident.
Gardai were alerted and gave chase after receiving the call, but found the car completely burnt out.
Locals reported seeing a number of men jump from the car, which had substantial damage to its front, before it was set alight.
The destroyed car was originally wine-coloured but had this colour stripped off after it was set alight.
