A FAMILY-RUN shop is celebrating after selling its second big lottery winning ticket -- and hopefully this time around the winner will call in for a glass of champagne.

The O'Donohoe family and staff at their Spar in Abbeyknockmoy, near Tuam, Co Galway, cracked open a bottle of bubbly yesterday after learning they had sold the winning ticket for the weekend Lotto jackpot of €3.8m.

Several years ago they sold a Euromillions ticket that scooped €500,000. But they never discovered that winner's identity.

This time they hope they can congratulate the new multi-millionaire in person.

The winning ticket -- a €12 quick pick -- was sold on Saturday, just hours before the draw.

"We're hoping it's somebody local but we don't have a clue who it might be. Nobody has made themselves known to me yet," said Patrick O'Donohoe who works in the shop with his father, Sean.

"We get a lot of passing trade, but on account of it being a Saturday, it could be a local person," he said.
