In 1977, Vincent Browne co-founded and launched 'Magill', a current affairs magazine.

Six years later, he relaunched and edited the 'Sunday Tribune', where he stayed until 1994.

In 1997, he relaunched 'Magill' with publisher John Ryan.

The late 1990s saw Browne reinvent himself as a radio and TV presenter, first on RTE and then on TV3 with 'Tonight with Vincent Browne'.

'Village' magazine was launched in 2004. Between 2006 and 2007, it lost more than €700,000. In August 2008, publication was suspended.
