IT'S Brian O'Driscoll and wife Amy Huberman's first Christmas as parents.

And the rugby star can't wait to spend the day watching movies and tucking into a turkey dinner with baby daughter Sadie by his side.

"We're looking forward to it," he said. "Obviously she will be a bit oblivious to it all, but it'll be great.

"It'll be something new for us, everything is new with all the different developmental stages, but we're having a laugh with her.

"She's keeping us on our toes that's for sure."

Sadie will spend time with both sets of her grandparents on Christmas Day.

DINNER

But there is no chance that Brian will be peeling the potatoes or slaving over a stove on the day.

"I won't be involved in cooking Christmas dinner -- I wouldn't do that to my family. I love them too much," he joked.
