HE hails from a political dynasty -- but an off-duty Finance Minister still has time to brush up on his history.

Brian Lenihan picked up some summer reading on a visit to Hodges Figgis bookshop on Dublin's Dawson Street yesterday.

A relaxed looking minister browsed the shelves for an hour, pausing in the Irish history section for a spell, before leaving the shop with his purchase.

After getting into hot water for failing to read fully the damning report on Anglo, one only hopes his latest read is a better page-turner.
