The Irish Independent A Lust For Life Runway 5k is ready for takeoff.

On Saturday, November 21 at 23:59, Cork Airport will be closed off for 1,500 runners to complete a 5k course along the runway.

The event is in conjunction with A Lust For Life, successor to Niall Breslin's My1000Hours website. A Lust For Life is a movement for well-being.

Its aim is to improve mental fitness and showcase practical tools to face life's challenges.

Entry is €20, with all entrants receiving their own goodie bag and A Lust For Life T-shirt. To sign up, see www.FITMagazine.ie/events
