Brady gets role as charity chief

Another former Fianna Fail minister has been appointed to a new job, following in the footsteps of other TDs who bowed out of political life.

Aine Brady, a former Minister for Older People, is chief executive of Third Age, a support organisation for the elderly.

Former Children's Minister Barry Andrews went on to be chief executive of Goal while Peter Power, another former colleague, now heads UNICEF.
