THE boys were back in town for one last show.
Reformed rock band Thin Lizzy played their last gig under their iconic name at the Olympia Theatre last night.
Earlier this year, the line-up, which includes original guitarist Scott Gorham, decided against releasing a new album or going on tour again because it was a "touchy subject" for some people.
Frontman Phil Lynott's mother said she did not object, but close friend Brush Shiels said he did not support the idea.
"Phil Lynott would have gone bananas over this. It's like the Jimi Hendrix Experience without Jimi Hendrix," he said.
