Next Saturday Dublin's Patrick Hyland expects to extend his 27 bout unbeaten run when he meets Javier Fortuna for the WBA interim featherweight title in Las Vegas on the Pacquiao-Marquez bill.
Pajo knows the 23-year old southpaw from the Dominican Republic (20-0, 15 KO) will be tough. "This is what I've worked for since the very first day I put on a pair of boxing gloves," says the Tallaght man. "I'll weather the early storm and then take him into deeper waters and drown him."
Also next Saturday, the WBA world super-middleweight title is at stake when Lisburn southpaw Brian Magee (36-4-1, 25KO) meets Mikkel Kessler (45-2, 34 KO) in Denmark. "They don't give away world title belts," says Magee (40). "This will be a hard fight. But I feel good and if I fought against myself now when I was 28 or 29, I'd back myself to win."
