Gold winner Katie Taylor, silver medallist John Joe Nevin, along with the bronze title holders Michael Conlon and Paddy Barnes, have become household names since their performances at the Games.
Alongside his team-mates, John Joe Nevin accepted a presentation in the National Boxing Stadium in Dublin of the two stamps issued in July to mark Ireland's success at the Games.
Minister of State for Tourism and Sport Michael Ring said Irish boxing had been "on the crest of a wave" since the Olympics.
The president of the Irish Amateur Boxing Association, Tommy Murphy, said amateur boxing was a "family" and that all of the team had now confirmed they would be staying amateur, rather than joining the potentially lucrative professional ranks.
Katie Taylor said: "I think a lot of young girls are going to be challenging me in the future."
The stamps, designed by Dublin-based Red Dog Designs, depict the winner's podium at the Olympics and will be available for sale in the stamps shop at Dublin's GPO.
