Gardai are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found at a house in north Dublin.

The discovery was made in Templeview Grove, Clarehall shortly after midnight.

The woman was thought to have been in her 40s.

Gardai say they are investigating the circumstances of the death and that the scene has been sealed off.

Forensic experts from the Garda technical bureau and the State Pathologist office have been asked to attend.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses with any information to come forward.
