Mary Byrne's exit from 'The X Factor' helped TV3 clinch the highest audience in its 12-year history.
A record 911,800 people tuned in to watch the 51-year-old sing for survival.
Meanwhile, fellow Irish 'X Factor' star Niall Horan of band One Direction will appear on Ireland AM at 8:45am on TV3 today.
Ahead of this weekend's final, each act is being given the opportunity to go home. However due to the bad weather conditions, this reunion will take place in a live link-up between ITV studios and TV3, with Horan's friends and family present.
