Big day for O Se Kerry star ties knot

Kerry footballing star Marc O Se yesterday married his long-time girlfriend Sarah Brosnan.
The wedding ceremony in Dingle had a guestlist that featured most of Kerry's reigning All-Ireland side.
Marc (29) was flanked by his three brothers Darragh, Fergal and Tomas as he arrived for the big day.
Despite leaden skies and occasional heavy showers, the wedding party took time to wave to well-wishers and pose for photographs outside St Mary's Church.
Sarah looked radiant in a winter white gown with short train and full veil.
The bride -- whose late father was prayed for by the Mass celebrants, Fr Tom Looney and Fr John Ahern -- was escorted up the aisle by her new nephew Michael O Se, after arriving a fashionable 20 minutes late.
Sarah is the only child in a family that operates the popular Dingle Bay Hotel.
Her bridesmaids wore full-length gowns of cerise pink, and entered the church through a corridor of candles placed out on the footpath.
Among the Kerry football stars in attendance were Kieran Donaghy, Eoin Brosnan, Dara O Cinneide and Diarmuid Murphy, Kerry's former goalkeeper.
The groom's uncle, Paidi O Se, was also in attendance, while the rest of the Kerry panel -- and a few footballing friends from Cork and Tyrone -- were expected to attend last night's gala wedding celebration in the Dingle Skellig Hotel.
Paidi said it was a proud day for both the O Se and Brosnan families as well as the tight-knit Dingle community.
"It's a great day -- but the rain might have held off for another hour or two," he said as he glanced up at gloomy skies.
"They make a lovely couple, and we're all delighted for Marc and Sarah and wish them all the happiness in the world," he added.
Dozens of Kerry fans gathered outside St Mary's Church on Green Street to catch a glimpse of the happy couple and wish them well.
For football-mad youngsters, it was also a priceless chance to get some autographs.
Marc is a teacher at Tralee CBS -- but boasts four All-Ireland titles and was named Footballer of the Year in 2007.
Together with his brothers, Darragh and Tomas, and his uncle, Paidi, the group boasts more All-Ireland medals than most Irish counties.
Marc was a key figure in Kerry's All-Ireland triumph last September when they defeated old rivals Cork.
However, Kerry will be severely depleted for their NFL opener against Dublin tomorrow.
Marc will be excused because of his wedding celebrations, while Kieran Donaghy, Colm Cooper and Declan O'Sullivan are off to Florida to attend the Super Bowl this weekend.
