This was the scene in Foxrock Church last night, where friends and neighbours of those who died in the Berkeley tragedy could grieve together.
Throughout the night, locals of all ages gathered to light candles and say prayers for Eoghan Culligan, Nick Schuster, Lorcán Miller, Eimear Walsh, Olivia Burke and Ashley Donohoe.
The vigil took place from around 8.45pm to 1.15pm according to one of the organisers Carol O'Kelly.
"There was a huge feeling of support and empathy. Lots of crying and lots of hugging, but a big feeling of warmth and support," Ms O'Kelly said.
"We're having ongoing prayer for the families that are involved. Everybody is invited to come."
Ms O'Kelly recorded to above video to give a sense of what the vigil was like for people who would have liked to come, but who were unable to attend.
"We wanted to organise something formal. We wanted to throw open the church's door," Ms O'Kelly added.
Among the attendees were two of Eimear Walsh's closest friends.
