THIS was the awkward moment when Taoiseach Enda Kenny was openly questioned by his own backbenchers.
Waterford TD John Deasy asked Mr Kenny when an inquiry will be held into abuse allegations in the South East.
Mr Kenny replied that he will establish the answer and revert to Mr Deasy later today.
Mr Deasy, who is one of Mr Kenny's strongest critics within Fine Gael was less than pleased with the response.
"I'll just ask the same question next week so," he said.
Mr Kenny replied that this wouldn't be necessary.
